Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did! I saw Harry Potter and went to Marietta Diner on Friday. It was fun catching up with the boys. Saturday was a wonderfully lazy day :) Sunday I went to Hartwell, Ga. Chris’ great aunt Inez turned 90! We went to a birthday party for this spunky little lady! She does not look 90 at all! She’s sharp too!

Today is Day 7 of the South Beach Diet and so far so good. I haven’t had any more withdrawal symptoms. I’m feeling alright but I’m really tired. Since I’ve started the diet I have had a hard time sleeping at night. I’m not sure if they are related or not but I would love a good night’s sleep so that I can wake up early.  I have been sleeping in all this past week. I don’t really like sleeping in because I feel like I’m wasting my day. Sleeping in also keeps me from going to the gym.  I don’t have the motivation/desire to go because it messes up my eating schedule. The worst thing we can do is mess up my eating schedule, I get angry. I need my food.

I have also started to study for the GMAT again. I put the book down for a while but its time to pick up the book again. I have been doing well on the drills in the book but I have yet to take a practice test. The English part is easy but the Math part is going to kick my ass.  I won’.t be taking the test till about December.  I want to ensure that I will get a good score. GA State has a median score of 602 for their business program and I am aiming at a 625. I need all the studying I can get if I want a 625.  Wish me luck.

I think I will be trying new recipes this week as well. My friend has asked me to make him some Green Tea Ice Cream and I think I will have the time to do it this week. I also have another recipe in mind. A friend of mine gave me her recipe for Greek Yogurt and I have yet to try it.  I’m hoping to give both recipes a try this week.
