St. Simons Island
This past weekend Chris and I went to St. Simons Island with the Boggs. They aren’t married but they have been together for 2 years and been living together for the same about of time and its easier to refer to them as such.
We left Friday around 2 and arrive a little after 6. We immediately got to the hotel, changed, and headed out to dinner. We went to Catch 228 and I loved it! It was a fun atmosphere and I had never heard so many Southern accents before. After dinner we went to the peir for a little while and then came back to hit the pool before bed.
Saturday we had a nice little breakfast at the hotel before heading out to do some shopping. I got a really cute dress! It is so flowly, fun, and cute
After walking around ‘downtown’ we went for lunch. By far the best pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese that I have ever had in my life. So freaking good. I finished all my mac & cheese but sadly could not tackle that sandwich. No biggie, I had leftovers. We headed over to TCBY? ( I can’t recall the exact order) and so yummy frozen yogurt. Later we went over to Jekyll Island and went on a boat tour. That was soo much fun!!! We were out there for about 1.5 hours. Makes me want a boat. I better find a job and make some bank in order to afford it. After the boat tour we went to dinner and there was a wedding reception and there was a fight between the groom and the father of the bride. The groom totally failed and yelled at the father something about being trashy inbred. That was an awkard walk past them… Good dinner. We went over to the Jekyll Hotel Club Pub…don’t got there. That was the snobbiest and rudest bartender ever. Then we headed back to the hotel where I passed out from a terrible headache due to dehydration. I usually drink about 100 ounces of water a day, maybe more. On this trip I had nowhere near enough water hence the headache
I was being a party pooper but I couldn’t help it. Oh, we shared a room with the Boggs and Sarah & I got the guys to watch “Say Yes to the Dress,’ doubtful they were paying attention.
Sunday we got up and headed over to Maggie’s Cafe. I had a biscuit with fruit but I heard that the biscuit & gravy and the crepes were really good. I wish I had tried them but I was craving bacon and cheese instead. We headed back to Jekyll after breakfast to visit the Turtle Clinic. Since turtles are slow and boring I thought that the clinic was going to be as well. I was wrong! I had a blast. We went into their ‘hospital’ and saw all the sick turtles
that was sad. Then inside it was like a game to find out information! I learned alot!! After the turtles we got some fudge and were on our way back home! I had an awesome time but next time I would like to be there longer and get a house. I don’t like going out to eat for 2 meals a day. 1) its expensive 2) not healthy.

I must say we all look goofy in that picture, except for your boobs, those look awesome
