Fall Semester 08
I’m almost done with college!!!!!!! I will be graduating in May of 09. I just have to turn in my application in tomorrow and I only have to worry about making good grades b/c I’m pretty sure that I’m not missing any classes.
Anyways, this is going to be one hell of a semester! I’m taking 18hours so that I can have a light load in the spring. 1 internship (if I can combine marketing and supply chain, if not then I have 2 internships) and 2 classes, strategic management and advertising & promotions. I’m so freakin excited its crazy! 4 out of my 6 classes are presentations which makes me very happy! I love presenting
So far they’re going alright but I need to buckle down even more and try to stay ahead of the game b/c I would DIE if I got super stressed. I have been running though, trying to keep my stress level down and it has seemed to work some but I still get stressed out. Regardless of how stressful this is going to be I’m actually excited and I look forward to school almost everyday.
Chris got a grown up job and he started on the 25th of August. I was SUPER happy for him! He’s lucky, I want to be a grown up :( He’s programming for IHG up in Alpharrett, GA and he’s across the street from Perimeter Mall, I think it was meant to be
He has a crappy drive up there but we’ll be moving to Atlanta in Jan/Feb to make it easier for him. Hopefully we can eventually move to North Atlanta, I love that side of town. He’s loving what he does and it makes me happy. I like when he comes home at night and tells me about his day, its too cute
I’m working at school again and I’m still doing the Longhorn thing. I work at school 4 days a week and at LH 3. At least I have Friday nights off, gives me time to actually go out and do something for a change! I changed departments, no longer working at Arts & Sciences, I ‘transferred’ to the College of Information and Mathematical Sciences. Yeah, its a mouthful! But its a much quieter place, I can actually do homework and get things done on time. I also have time to procrastinate and make a blog post
I’m with Nancy and I love that lady, she’s crazy and awesome!.
Getting into photography more and more but time is short
With school, work, homework, running and cleaning there isn’t much time for picture taking but I try my best to make time. I was able to get a taste of sports photography at the first soccer game of the season. Capturing motion was a lot harder than what I thought. I knew I would suck the first time but I didn’t think it would have been THAT bad but about 30, out of 200something, pictures came out and they were alright. I’m going to attempt to make it to all the home games so that I can keep practicing. I’m also working on taking pictures of people, I like that a lot, I enjoy the emotion on people’s faces. I like taking scenic pictures as well but not as much as people. I went to Reynolds Park yesterday (thanks to Jimmy’s internet findings) and I was NOT prepared. I thought the park was going to different. I imagined there were trails everywhere and there were but they weren’t cement trails like I thought. They were like hiking trails. I wore flip flops and a skirt! Wrong attire! Going back again when I can. I will actually be able to go during the day b/c there are so many trees around that it keeps the harsh afternoon lighting out.
FALL IS ALMOST HERE!!! This is my favorite season of the year! I like being outside the cool, crisp air. The changing colors are soo pretty and they will make for better pictures. I also love fall b/c of the outfits. Personally, I think that the cold season offers better clothing options.
That’s about it for now, I’ve been slacking for about 2 hours now and its time to get some homework done!

WOW WOW WEE WOW…
Nice update. Taking 18hrs and working 6/7 days a week is no joke. I think you’ll be able to hold it down. You always do.
