Mi Bella Vida

So its been about 2 months since I last made a post and time has FLOWN by. March we had spring break and I didn’t go anywhere that week but the week after I was in Florida. Chris, Scott and myself drove down to Sebring, Florida for the 12 Hours of Sebring driving event. I had never been to a race before and I must say, it was so much fun! There some great looking cars out there and I got a tan After coming back from Florida I got so incredibly lazy with school work and I’m still trying to recover.

April came and my baby sister turned 16…tear. Crazy how time goes by so fast! I also went out to Dallas/Ft Worth for Chris’ cousin’s wedding. It was a nice small wedding and they seem happy. Getting there was the shitty part. I didn’t get to Dallas until 1 am and I was supposed to land at 9 pm…AWESOME. Luckily the flight back was quick and painless. Yesterday was Chris’ 22nd birthday and we had a pretty relaxed night. We ate at Chin Chin Osaki, best sushi EVER, and then we rented Juno. Pretty chill and very enjoyable.

May 12th we go to Mexico and we get to spend 2 weeks away from everything and I cannot wait. This has been a pretty rough semester and this will be a very welcomed break. We get back on the 22nd and then my sister graduates high school on the 23rd. WTF, seriously, where the hell has the time gone?

So this semester is almost over and I’m thinking, just thinking, that I’m going to make out with a B in Accounting 2. A B!!!!! Omg, I’m seriously freaking out just thinking about that shit. I have spent so much time and effort in that class that I have let my grade suffer in my Calculus class. I’m going to prob walk out of there with a C and that really pisses me off b/c I was aiming for no C’s but such is life. I know that I’ll be fine in all my other classes, A’s and B’s so I’m still kinda happy. I’m going to be taking 3 classes this summer. The original plan was to take 4 but they only offered the other class online and I would do horribly. 2 of the classes are full term and the 3rd is just half a semester so HOPEFULLY it won’t be too bad. In the fall I will be taking 5 classes again…grrr. I’m gonna be way tired again. I’ll only be working 3 days at Longhorn now b/c of the heavy load. I’m also trying to get a job at a Marketing Agency near the apartment. When we get back from Mexico I’m gonna go in and talk to them. Maybe they can give me a little part time so that I can get my feet wet.

I’m really starting to get into photography lately. More than just looking at the pretty pictures but how to take pictures and what cameras would be good. I can barely work my camera but I’m sure if I got the cool camera I want I may be more than willing to really learn. I really want to go into advertising and I think that being able to take great pictures can really help me. I’m also going to try and learn Photoshop. I’ve heard that its a pretty complex program but I’m ready and willing. Oh! I learned how to use Excel I’m currently learning how to speak German. Chris gave me an early birthday present on Tuesday and I’m so happy. We are so gonna be ready for Germany when we go! He got Spanish for himself and I’m really excited at the fact that he wants to learn Spanish. It means a lot to me.

Working at L-Horn has been great so far. Definitely the most fun I’ve ever had at a job. Everyone there is great, well almost everyone. There are a select few that I could do with out. The best thing about LH is that they reimburse their employees that are Business Majors. Holla at some money! As soon as my one year mark comes up I’m going to have a chat with management to get my money. Hopefully they’ll reimburse me for school the whole time I’ve been there, that’ll be 5 semesters.

I think Bear hurt himself so I’m gonna have to leave the rest of this post for later.
